My Federal Refund was $3500 less than what TurboTax said. Was I deceived?

I just got my federal tax return today and it's $3500 less than what TurboTax said it would be. What is going on? Did TurboTax try and bake the money I already received last year and present it like it would be part of my tax refund this year? I'm truly upset if that's the case, because it was not at all presented like that and should have stated clearly if the amounts would be different from what we're getting back on our taxes this year. Or is there another issue with the IRS not sending me the full amount?

The IRS will be sending you a letter in the mail within the next few weeks which will explain what they changed on the tax return for the federal tax refund to be reduced.
