My first employer did not contribute anything to my HSA last year. When I changed jobs to in Sept 2024, they started contributing to my HSA. But only $115.38.

My first employer claims in box 12 of my w2 that 3,206 was made through my employer and payroll contributions. My first employer didn't contribute anything to my HSA. I contributed. $3,744. It wasn't until I changed jobs in Sept 2024 to a new company that they started contributing to my HSA. That total is only $115.38. Is this number in box 12 correct?

Box 12 of your form W-2 code W reports the total contributions )by you and your employer) to your HSA.

If your records are correct, box 12 code W of your first employer's W-2 should state $3,744 and not $3,206.
