My foreign tax credit is way less than the price that Intuit wants to charge me to apply the credit. How can I skip the foreign tax credit?
My taxes are not too crazy, but that one detail is preventing me from filing my taxes for free. In this scenario it will actually be more expensive for me to apply the credit, simply because I need to pay $108 to reduce my tax due by $47. I would like to know how to opt out of the foreign tax credit.
