Question

My HSA account is my name, I get money added to it for my husband. Would I select him for the HSA account section as well?

No, HSAs belong to the individual. If this is your HSA, then you report it. It does not matter if you spend money from the HSA on your husband nor if your husband contributed to your HSA; it is your HSA and you report all distributions and contributions.

It's OK. just don't mark that he has an HSA and go through the interview all the way to the end.

P.S., if you see a question that asks "What type of High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) did [his name] have on December 1, 2018?" just answer NO - this question does not apply to taxpayers who do not have an HSA.
