You must enter your income for both of you in the Wages & Income section of the program so that you will be eligible of the Child and Dependent Care tax credit.

Have you entered all the income for both of you?  The W2s don't come until January.  You both need to show income from working.  If you have entered both your W2s make sure they are assigned to the right spouse.   Or if you are self employed  you need a Net Profit on Schedule C to show income for the Child Care Credit.

The software will not show the childcare credit unless you have entered income earned from working from both of you.  And if one of you is self-employed but shows a loss, you will not be eligible for the childcare credit.   A common mistake we see is that people start trying to work on the childcare credit before entering their W-2's and/or 1099NEC's.
