My mother died Dec. 2017- we sold her house in March 2018. I have not received any 1099 or anything from clearinghouse. Can I go ahead and file our taxes anyway?

My mother died in Dec. 2017.  My mother had lifetime rights to house.

We sold her house in March 2018.

I haven't received a 1099 from clearinghouse that finalized everything.

Shouldn't I have received that by 1/31/19?

Since I haven't can I go ahead and file our taxes?

Yes, you can file. Not everyone receives a 1099-S.
