My wife doesn't work and live oversea, can i still qualify Earned income tax credit

Hi all, due to the pandemic, my wife lives in other country for more than 6 months, and she doesn't work there. Can i still claim the earned income tax credit without a qualifying child. 

i meet all the rules, but my wife live in other country for more than 6 months in 2021.

    Yes, you can claim the Earned Income Tax Credit  while your wife is overseas if you meet these requirements:

     

    "...Meet the EITC basic qualifying rules

    • Have your main home in the United States for more than half the tax year
      • The United States includes the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. military bases. It does not include U.S. possessions such as Guam, the Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico..."
