My wife & I own a home that my daughter lives in. Her bf & I are on the loan. Can I claim the int. & property tax? His SS# appears on the 1098, but is not on the deed

Yes, if you paid the loan installments and the property taxes, you can claim them on your return. In fact, you can claim mortgage interest on a second home and property taxes on all your properties.

If your daughter's boyfriend paid the loan, then he can claim the mortgage interest but not the property taxes. You only can claim the property taxes.
