My wife visits a 'Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner' twice a week for psychological help in dealing with PTSD. Is this a deductible medical expense? Thanks.

Yes, you can deduct this expense as a medical expense if you paid it out-of-pocket.

The IRS says:

Medical care expenses include payments for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease, or payments for treatments affecting any structure or function of the body.
