Nevada Vehicle Registration Fees Deduction

If there is a Basic Gov Services TAX and a Supplemental Gov Services TAX, am I adding both values to get my deductible portion of the Motor Vehicle TAX I paid on my vehicle?

Yes. In Nevada, you can deduct the Motor Vehicle Tax portion of what you paid to register your vehicles, which consists of the parts of your Vehicle Registration Fee labeled: 

 

  1. Governmental Services Tax and
  2. Supplemental Governmental Services Tax
