Not getting a deduction for mortgage interest when entered.

sold one home in 1/2018 and purchased another home in 6/2018.  New home loan sold to another lender in 2018.  Entered all interest information and received no credit to the total amount.

If the value on Line 8 of your Schedule A is showing as 0, go back through the Mortgage Interest section and be sure that you have indicated that your loan is secured (see screenshot) 

If you mean that your refund amount doesn't change when you input this information into TurboTax, it may be because you are currently taking the Standard Deduction instead of itemizing. 

You can view your Schedule A by clicking on Forms in the upper right-hand corner, clicking on Open Form on the left-hand side, and then typing Schedule A into the search bar. 

You can also view your Form 1040 in Forms mode by finding it on the list of forms on the left side of your screen. Your deduction amount will appear on Line 8 of your Form 1040.
