Now that I've filed for this year, I want to prepare for next year. I'd like to remove a dependent and then fool with HSA and IRA contributions. How can I do that ?

Whatever you do -- do NOT mess around and make changes to the return you filed this year -- or you will have a big mess when you try to transfer 2018 to 2019 someday.

if you just want to "play" with amounts, etc, then create a different account and user ID to do that and then do NOT file it.
