Question

On my rv loan statement, where do I find the amount to claim on my taxes? Is it the YTD Finance Charge?

It depends. If the RV has sleeping, cooking and toilet facilities, you may deduct the yearly interest payment made. The monthly finance charge could be other costs for the loan so you may wish to get a breakdown of the costs. You may also deduct the RV registration fee.

If you are not living in your RV, you can deduct only the RV registration fee.
