Only half of my 22 tax return transferred to 23

I have TT Home and Business both 2022 and 2023 in my computer and have been using this software for 7 years same way. This year my rental properties did not transfer over to 2023. Have always used the desktop edition. I have been doing this the same way for multiple years without any problem. This year for some reason is different. I have multiple rental properties and do not want to re-enter each of them by hand.

Could you have transferred from the wrong file? See if you have another .tax2022 file on your computer. Or maybe last year you marked the Schedule C or E as FINAL in Turbo Tax? Or the Asset as Sold?

Here's an idea. Do you still have 2022 installed? Try opening 2022 program and see if you can get your 2022 return to show up in it. Go to FILE - OPEN. And see if the right info is in it and if it's marked as final.

Then save it again with a name and place you can find. Go to File - Save As. Then start a new 2023 return and transfer from the saved 2022 file.
