Our home is paid off but the tax form keeps asking for a mortgage origination date. What do I do?

We owe nothing on the house but the tax form won't let me continue until I provide the "mortgage origination date". What should I put?

Delete the Form 1098 for the lender and when asked if you have any home loans answer No.

Enter mortgage interest in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to mortgage interest.
