I have been paying my granddaughter's preschool tuition. She does not live with me so I cannot claim her as my dependent.  Can I get credit for the tuition I paid?  Thanks.

No.  Sorry.   Only the person who claims the dependent can get credit for the daycare expense.   In fact, if your grandchild is attending preK so that her parents can work, they could use the expense on their tax return to get the childcare credit traduce their tax liability.    You are a kind and generous grandparent.
