Proceeds from real estate transactions

In TurboTax Premier online program-

If this is a sale of your main home, please follow :

1.  After sign in, select Take me to my return 

2.  In the Search box , at right upper corner, type in sale of home , then press Enter

3.  Select Jump to sale of home

4.  On screen, Sale of Your Main Home screen, select Yes

5.  On the Sold a Home screen, click Continue to enter your information

If this is a sale of property other than main home, please follow:

1.  After sign in, select Take me to my return 

2.  In the Search box , at right upper corner, type in 1099-s, sale of property other than main home , then Enter   

3.  Select Jump to 1099-s, sale of property other than main home

4.  On screen, Did you sell any investments in 2016? answer Yes

5.  Next screen, Did you get a 1099-B or a brokerage statement for these sales?  answer No

6.  Next screen, Choose the type of investment you sold, make your selection and continue
