Property tax credit for prior year as income

In May of 2022 I received a credit on my property tax for 2021. I had included the property tax in itemized deductions for 2021. Should I indicate the credit as income in my 2022 taxes? I did not receive a 1099 for the credit.

Yes, if you took a deduction for property taxes paid, then you received a credit back for it in 2022, you will need to include it in your 2022 taxable income.
