Property taxes paid late by lender provider

My mortgage provider made a mistake and paid in January 2025 my 2024 property taxes i have been paying thru escrow. As it was their mistake, can i still use it to deduct from my 2024 taxes?

    No, if it was paid in 2025, you'll report it on your 2025 return.
