I cannot enter an amount in the real estate tax paid box in the Deductions and Credits section. Their is no mortgage on our house, so the tax paid cannot be entered through the mortgagee section.

use the seacrh box to look for tax and int wks

or in interview mode it'll be under deductions - your home - property taxes

We know where to enter the tax, which is on the page below copied from Turbo Tax. The issue is that the first box (to the right of "Enter the property taxes you paid in 2020") is grayed out, and we cannot enter a number in the box. So it's a bug in the program.

We found that we could enter the tax indirectly through the mortgage escrow option, but were asked to enter other numbers that do not apply to us since we don't have a mortgage.
