did you use actual expense or the simplified method? did you change methods? did the square footage to total square footage change over the years.

looking through prior returns you might be able to figure out the cumulative amount of depreciation taken.

the IRS has tax returns for 2015 onward. so you can obtain copies.

it's the taxpayer's responsibility to keep track of depreciation taken.
