SALES TAX DEDUCTION

I am a resident of Florida with no state income tax.  I believe I can deduct sales taxes for large purchases.  I am a summer resident in Indiana.  Could I deduct sales taxes on my federal return for appropriate purchases there as well?

    Yes, you could include the sales tax that you paid for large purchases in Florida and Indiana on your federal return.
