Schedule UE and form 8995

Turbo tax is showing a deduction on form 8995 - Qualified Business Income Deduction, Simplified Computation.  It shows on line 6, Qualified REIT dividends and publicly traded partnership (PTP) income or (loss) - $87.00.  Shows same number on line 8.  Line 9 shows a figure of $17.00.  Line 10 shows Qualified Business income deduction before the income limitation with the number $17.00.  This is to be a credit against taxes due.  We don not have any business and have not had one.  Why is this happening and how do I get rid of it.  I haven't been able to over-ride it or delete it.

From your description the information is coming from a K-1 form 1065 that you have put into your return.

Please review the information if you received a K-1 to see if there is information in Box 20, Code Z, with a statement attached with additional information.

If this is not the case then you can delete the form 8995 by

Here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

    1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
    2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
    3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
    4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.

We did not get any schedule K-1s for 2019.  I have been retired for over 11 years.  My wife retired this past June and has been on social security since July.  We did not receive any K-1s for 2018.  She was a secretary for the company she worked for.  Thanks for the help.  I will try and hope it works.
