Self employed - looking for the area to enter my rent expense for my business office.

While using Turbo Tax Self-Employed edition, please use the following steps to enter your rent expense;

  • Log into your account.
  • Select Federal Taxes
  • Once open, select Income & Wages where you will edit your self-employment income and expenses.  (screen shot below)
  • Answer all questions until you get to the expense section, (to input all your expenses).  Once here, you will scroll down to Less Common Expenses and choose, Office Expenses.  It is here you will enter your rental expense.
