Working on return for someone who is self-employed.  Individual collected unemployment for 9 months in 2020 due to covid; the first three months of the year collected regular income.  As self-employed individual, would typically deduct 12 months of med insurance premiums.  While receiving unemployment, can you still deduct all 12 months of med ins premiums?  The hope and intention is that individual will return to full-time employment some time in 2021.

Yes, if the individual is self-3mployed for part of the year, he can claim all health insurance premiums he paid for the whole year for himself and his dependents.
