Sharing Apartment with friends, Home Office Deduction

I share an apartment with two friends. I have my own bedroom and I use part of it exclusively for business.

Would I deduct this part of my room from my overall rent? Also, Would I calculate it based on my private space usage (only private bedroom square footage) or from the entire apartment square footage? My roommate sleeps in the living room and the other has his own room.
