Should I enter the amount of child care expenses twice? It asked how much we spent then had me do it again identifying the daycare and their EIN number. Is this right?

I entered how much I paid for care for each kid (daycare costs) then it took me to where I identified the actual daycare and asked for the amount again. Am I supposed to enter it twice?

Yes, enter the amount of childcare paid to that particular daycare center, again. The reason TurboTax initially asks you for the total amount and then asks for the amount again is for those taxpayers that have more than one (1) daycare center. TurboTax will then reconcile the total amount initially entered to the amounts entered for all the daycare centers combined.
