If you do not report on your 2021 Federal 1040 tax return the amount of advance payments on IRS Letter 6419, your tax return may be delayed in processing. But you may choose that alternative.

If you did not receive the advance payments reported on IRS Letter 6419, you may view the payments that you did not receive on your IRS tax transcripts. See here to review your tax transcripts.

You may choose to start a payment trace of the payment(s) that you did not receive. Mail or fax to the IRS a completed Form 3911 Taxpayer Statement Regarding Refund.
