Unless you are active military on a permanent change of station, moving expenses are no longer deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes for tax year 2018 thru 2025.

Moving expenses are no longer deductible on your federal return except for some active duty members of the military.  There are a few states that might let you deduct some moving expenses on the state return.
