Question

So tried to enter paid property taxes but field is autofill only……won’t accept…….we don’t have a mortgage so no doc to autofill from?

How do I enter property taxes, when field is autofill only? We don’t get details via a 1098 because we don’t have a mortgage, help please?

Enter property taxes:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Click on Federal tab.
  3. Click on Deductions & Credits.
  4. Click on Edit/Add to the right of Property (Real Estate) Taxes.

 

Or Enter "property taxes" in Search box > Click on "jump to property taxes".
