Hello,

I am filling out the section for the 1098-T in Turbo Tax and it asks "What Was Your Enrollment Status for 2022?" The available answer options are "Full-time," "At least half-time," and "Less than half-time." I attended law school full-time in 2022. However, Box 8 of my 1098-T is checked where it says "Checked if at least half-time student." Should I choose the option "At least half-time" for this question in Turbo Tax? Or should I choose the "Full-time" option?

If you attended full time that’s what you should check.

Yes, check the Full-time option if your 1098-T Form, Box 8 is checked. You're considered a full-time student.

To qualify as a student, the person must be (during some part of each of any five calendar months of the year):

A full-time student at a school that has a regular teaching staff, course of study, and a regularly enrolled student body at the school, or
A student taking a full-time, on-farm training course given by a school described in (1), or by a state, county, or local government agency.
