Tax Deduction for Professional Organization Membership

Can I claim the annual maintenance fee ($125) that I pay for the professional computer security organization I belong to? I am not self- employed. My employer does not pay for it.

    No.  If you are not self-employed you can not deduct employee business expenses even if they are not reimbursed.
