if I click on travel expenses learn more, what kind of proof do I need, it states You can use a receipt of each expense or a standard allowance for all your expenses to report them. What is the standard allowance?

There is a Per Diem amount based on the location to which you traveled. This would be considered a standard allowance. You can find the current Per Diem rates for the location to which you traveled at this link http://www.gsa.gov/portal/content/104877.
