If you have one property and 2 house on that property do you have to pay taxes on both houses?

    That is not an income tax question; that is a local property tax question to ask in your township or county-  Best bet -- the answer will be  yes.

    You might get one property tax bill covering the taxes on both houses. But again, as xmasbaby0 said, ask the tax collector's office.
