The 5695, residential energy credit should be 30% of the expense for residential windows but not exceed $600. If we paid $12,000 why is the credit only $200?

The IRS will begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files on January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.
