The current form is not accepting my 2017 Prius Prime as qualifying for the energy tax credit. I suspect it doesn't recognize the VIN. Will this be fixed?

The program will not be fully operational until late February and the IRS Form 8936  is usually not ready until mid Jan....


When they become operational later in December ... you can see when the expected dates for forms to be operational here :
