There is no blank to enter the amount I paid for Child and Dependent Care. How do I enter that amount?

Have you entered income from a W-2 or self-employment income that shows a net profit? If you have not entered such income you will not be able to get the childcare credit. And if you are filing a joint return, you need to show income under each spouse's name.
