This is a bug report to a company that does not provide support for bug reports. I hope it gets fixed.

Analysis -> Review. "Check this Entry"

Charitable contributions has an unacceptable entry. Entry is $300 (using Std Ded)

This screen offers NO HELP to the average user. What is the entry supposed to be? I know it's supposed to be $600 for joint return but how many others do? There is NO FEEDBACK for the user.

Worse, I can change it to $600. Then return and the screen wants me to run Smart Check again (to verify the error is fixed?). That screen promptly changes the fixed amount back to $300 and prompts me to fix it yet again. Every time. Forever.

I can even save the file and close TTax. Then reopen it, verify that the amount on the 1040wks is $600. And then run smart check and get the same stupid error reported above and prompt to fix it.

This is pure sloppy coding and your lack of feedback or acknowledgement to bugs is shameful.
