Trying to add an item for 2017 on the new itsdeductible GUI and no window pops up to allow input, is the interface ready for customers or is it still being implemented?

I don't know how you are getting to a new ItsDeductible interface. They yanked the Beta version 3 or so months ago because it had so many kinks. Maybe you're getting there from an old bookmark.
Log out and empty your browser cache. Close the browser and reopen it. Then see if you can get to the classic version with this link:
