Question

Trying to complete state taxes and it keeps kicking me back to put an amount in property value and tax. I do not own a house.

II live in Kansas and do not own my home but it keeps asking me to put an amount in property tax

There is a homestead refund in Kansas that is based on your property tax paid. You may have indicated that you were eligible for the refund. You can go back through the program and deselect that option, or you can try entering $0 for the value and tax and no refund will be calculated.
