TT Deluxe is calculating medical expenses incorrectly

I entered our medical premiums from our 1099-R. I also entered all of our medical expenses in the Deductions sections. The summary is showing a difference of $3000 less than what we actually paid. Do I need to add that difference in the "Additional premiums already entered" section??

Yes, if you can reconcile the amount of the expense that is missing, then you should enter this in the correct medical expense section in TurboTax. Your total medical care expenses which include medical premiums, payments for diagnosis, services rendered by doctors, dentists, etc should flow to Sch A. You can deduct on Schedule A (Form 1040) only the part of your medical and dental expenses that is more than 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI).
