Turbo tax keeps stating " we see you had a bread in HDHP health coverage during 2024. Let us know if result of disability." I did not have a lapse of coverage

I was covered on a family plan. I did not contribute to the HSA - the HSA is through my spouse's work

I think I found the error.   On the HSA contribution page I did not mark that I had an HSA account (it is not through my employer so I check no).

    Thank you.

Take a closer look at the question on the screen just prior to the one telling you there was a lapse in coverage.

If both you and your spouse are covered under the same family plan, then the person with the HDHP in their name will indicate they had a family plan.  The other person will indicate they had None because the HDHP was not in their name.

On the previous screen Turbo Tax asks "what type of HDHP" I had on December 1, 2023.   I selected family.   For the HSA information my column shows zero and my husbands shows the HSA info.    Even when I select the Family coverage option the system seems to think I had a break in coverage.
