Turbotax claims that they know I bought or refinanced a home and started a business this year. Neither are true. Where is this information coming from?

It would come from the answers you gave during the beginning interview where TurboTax asks about things that might pertain to you.

The different tiles it shows, such as "Did you buy a house?" "Did you start a business?"

It won't matter if you did or not, but the program will ask more questions if it thinks you did.

The only way to go back is to Clear and Start Over.
