TurboTax Deductions

I was wondering why TurboTax deducted 40 dollars as well as 89 dollars when I am 99% sure I only have a W-2 to do taxes for, I would love to see if I could get any sort of refund for that or not. Just curious as that’s like over 100$ more I could get if possible.

Did you choose to pay for your TurboTax fees by having the fees deducted from your federal refund instead of paying upfront before you e-filed--by using a credit or debit card?   If you made that choice you are paying an extra $40 fee to have a third party bank receive your refund first, take out the TT fees, keep $40 for itself, and send you the rest of the refund.

How can I see my TurboTax  fees?

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons     (BEFORE you e-file) :
