Under Medical and Dental Deductions, Turbo tax put in an amount even though I answered $0 to all questions, where did they get this amount?

We cannot see your return. One guess.....did you receive Social Security benefits? If so, then the amount deducted from your SS for Medicare flows from the SSA1099 to medical expenses in the software.

No, no social security. it is a very simple return, not much income, not any deductions, did have Medical insurance through the Affordable Care Act. Any Ideas?

You received a 1095-A for your healthcare and the program carried your portion of the cost. Since you are not itemizing, the numbers will not be used for medical expenses.
