Where do I enter Virginia VK-1 Line 16 Interest on obligations of the US? I don't see a Subtractions Statements, only an Other Subtractions Statement which doesn't have a Line 16 entry.

You enter it on the federal return.

When you enter the 1099-INT into TurboTax on the federal return, there is a box that reads "Box 3 - Interest on U.S. Savings Bonds and Treas. obligations".

Any amount put in here is added to "Virginia Subtractions" on the VA return, so the interest on U.S. Savings Bonds is automatically removed from VA taxable income.

For those with the same question, where to enter Interest Income from US Obligations that comes from a K-1 (not 1099-INT) is on line 5 (line inset to the left) or on 6a if it's from dividends.
