Married filing jointly with both over age 65 would have a standard deduction of $27,800.

The 2021 Standard Deduction is $25,100 for married couples filing jointly.

Couples in which one or both spouses are age 65 or older also get bigger standard deductions. The extra amount for 2021 is $1350 and $2,700 if both spouses are 65 or older.
