According to the  IRS, most expenses related to primary and secondary education (K-12), including homeschooling, are not tax deductible. This includes costs such as: Curriculum and textbooks. Supplies and educational materials.

Some states do allow deductions related to K-12 education and/or home schooling expenses. Your state allows for these deductions TurboTax will prompt

you to enter them as you prepare your state return. Some states that may offer this deduction are Arizona,  Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

You can try calling your state's Department of Revenue for more information: How do I contact my state Department of Revenue?
