If you have an HSA - and used it/contributed to it in 2024 - then yes, you can do your taxes by yourself. However, you cannot use the Free version of TurboTax.
You'll have to add form 8889 to your return to document your HSA activities, and the Free version of TurboTax does not support the 8889.
Note that if you have an HSA but neither contributed to it nor spent money from it in 2024, then you do not need to add the form 8889 nor even reference the HSA at all in your 2024 return.
Many employees, however, have a code W in box 12 on their W-2; this indicates the total amounts that your employer contributed to your HSA plus amounts that you contributed through your employer by payroll deduction. In this case, you must add a form 8889 to your return.
