What if your currently leasing your vehicle? Do you still get a tax deductible?

I’ve been leasing my car since September 2016, am I able to claim it on my taxes this year?

You will be able to claim your leasing expenses if you use your vehicle to produce self employment income or for the service of an employer.

If so, you can deduct the leasing expenses on a prorated basis for business use.
